Crayons and Dreams

Sometimes in life our box of crayons gets ruined. This does not always mean that a new box of crayons is in order. In fact, a new box of crayons may mask or invalidate what just happened for you. We can mourn over the crayons and if you stop there youll miss out on the extraordinary. Just like broken crayons can be made into new magical pieces of art when you put the shavings between wax paper under an iron, so can what seems like a broken dream be made into a new magical vision. Everything you need is still there. It has just taken a new shape. Just because your first or second or third attempt at realizing your dream falls apart, doesnt mean you must discard the dream. Trust what happens, and you will learn. Take a different approach. When we continue to pursue something in the same way we always have, we will continue to get the same results.

Dont be afraid to risk. Those who risk the most may fail more often because they risk more often, but they also win more often and more abundantly. There is no one way, no one path that will get you where you want to go. The biggest secret about the box of crayons, about your dream, is that it is yours. Dont let someone else replace it with another and dont stop the first time you fall down. This is your dream and you hold the answer within you to bring it forth. With courage and trust in yourself, your dreams will be realized in ways you could not have designed or imagined.
