You cannot assume that all possible risks are covered in every group insurance policy.

Finally, the importance of group travel insurance cannot be over-emphasized. The risks you face in normal life at your home-base are applicable even when you are on travel; in fact, risks are greater when on travel, particular if you are traveling to places where climates, food, and general law and order is different from what you are accustomed to.
